Guhring India inaugurates Service Center in Gurgaon

New Delhi: Guhring, the world class manufacturer of precision rotary cutting tools and allied tooling for the automotive, general engineering, heavy engineering and other precision machining industries has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Service center in North region in India, spawning a total area of about 5000 Sq Ft at, Sector 8, IMT Manesar, by Mr. M.M. Singh, Managing Executive Officer (Production) at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

This newly launched facility is the third one in its network of Service Centers including Bangalore and Pune. The company already provides pan-India service to its customers and has a well established center in Pune, since 2007 apart from the one in Bangalore which was established way back in 1999. The service centre would have two main functions to begin with, reconditioning of used cutting tools and Sales support for the Northern zone. The company also has plans to extend this service centre as an OEM support centre by adding the capacity to provide technical  services to the OEM's which would be mainly directed towards the Machine Tool Manufacturers through this service center. The company has deployed skillful manpower that includes operators and the Sales team.

Singh, Managing Executive Officer (Production) at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Kipik, Managing Director-Guhring India said, “After the economic recovery, the industry has become price conscious and have been preplanning spending patterns by optimizing resources.  Our service centre will exactly support that initiative; we will help the customer reduce their tool inventories by turning around reground tools in a shorter time.” He additionally added that, “We will encourage more and more customers to go in for regrinding by providing them tools with the original geometry using which they can get almost 80% of the new tool life."

Guhring India reinforces the parent company’s philosophy of "being close to the customer". This Indian subsidiary is now bullish on building the network of infrastructure with in India and further reducing the distance which in turn helps address the customers’ requirements in a quick and efficient manner.
