Running into the 25th year, "The Accommodation Times National Real Estate Awards" will honour companies and individuals associated with the Real Estate sector for their contribution to this industry which accounts for 7-8% of India's GDP (Gross Domestic Product). To be presented in Mumbai in March 2011, submission of entries for qualifying for the awards is open upto 15th Feb 2011.
The awards are based on performance, transparency and innovation within the real estate sector and are the oldest national awards for this sector in the country. The Award selection process is ISO standard certified.
The awards are divided across categories like Project of the Year Mumbai, Project of the Year Bangalore, Project of the Year Pune, Project of the Year Delhi, Project of the Year Ahmedabad, Commercial Project of the Year, Mass Housing Project, Corporate Governance, Best Business Practice, Functional Layout of the year, Architect of the Year, Man of the Year, Life Time Achievements, Journalist of the year, Legal Aspect of the year, Author of the year, Housing Finance company of the year, Marketing Concept of the year, Real Estate Mutual Fund of the year, Insurance Scheme of the year, Social Contribution of the year, Integrated Township of the year, Young Achiever of the year, Advertising Agency of the year and Bureaucrat of the year.
Companies and individuals can fill the nomination form and submit details like profile of the project, Past and present projects or clientele, profile of the firm, USP and reason for inclusion into nomination process. The project must have been completed in the year 2010.
The event is supported by renowned organizations like The Practicing Engineers, Architects, and Town Planners Association (India) (PEATA), CREDAI-Pune (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India), Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI), The Estate Agents' Association of India (EAAI), Builders Association of India (BAI) and a host of other industry organizations.
