Vikram Kaushik, managing director, Tata Sky, will retire on December 31, 2010. Mr Kaushik has led the company since its inception in 2004 and under his leadership, Tata Sky has emerged as the leading DTH brand in the country.

Mr Kaushik will be succeeded by Harit Nagpal, who is currently the group marketing director, Vodafone plc. Mr Nagpal will join the company in August 2010 in order to facilitate a smooth transition at Tata Sky.

Mr Nagpal comes with 25 years experience of which, nine years have been with Vodafone.
