Tractebel Engineering inks Contract with GAIL to provide Project Management Consultancy for the longest pipeline in India
New Delhi - Tractebel Engineering today signed a historic contract with GAIL (India) Ltd. to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for the construction of the Jagdishpur-Haldia Gas Pipeline, the longest in India with a contract value of INR 415 million. The pipeline will supply natural gas from the Mahanadi and KG basin to end users in four states of India viz. Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. Covering a length of 2,050 km, the Jagdishpur-Haldia Gas Pipeline will be the largest in India and is expected to be completed at an approximate cost of INR 70,650 million (Euro 1,086 million).
