MTNL Delhi, telecom operator in Delhi, the host city of XIX Commonwealth Games would leverage its next generation 3G platform to bring rich experience and excitement to its subscribers.

The service will leverage our 3G, Voice and SMS technology platforms for bringing exciting mobile offerings to MTNL customers that would allow them to stay updated with the latest developments related to the Commonwealth Games from the comfort of their mobile phone. In partnership with Smile of India, Mobile Infotainment Partner for XIX Commonwealth Games, we have designed the offerings to have a combination of sports, travel, local & global information to make them informative and entertaining.”

The various added offerings on mobiles include ZoomiTM - Mobile Application across Java and Blackberry platforms, ZoomiTM – WAP / Mobile Browser, Video Portal accessible by dialing 52225 from video enabled phones, SMS based Subscription Packs, SMS based Contest, Videos & Images Packs

ZoomiTM would have a combination of sports, travel, local & global information to make it informative and entertaining. From information on participating Commonwealth nations to photographs & achievements of past games to details about Delhi & India to latest news, images, videos - ZoomiTM would have it all in a Rich Visual format.

The Video Portal would offer Sports & Entertainment services over IVVR (Interactive Voice & Video Response). MTNL customer would call 52225 to see not only latest Commonwealth Games videos but also videos of other sports & Entertainment categories like humor, bollywood etc. SMS packs would provide daily alerts and trivia related to games and can be subscribed by sending SMS “GOLD” to 52225.
