London: Canvironment Week, Hindustan Tin Work’s first Global Metal Can Recycling Movement to preserve the environment through decisive proactive initiatives has now gone global with the launch of its website in London.
The website www.canvironmentweek.com, launched today by Allan Sayers, will impart necessary information and updates about the movement to the people across the globe and encourage their participation to ensure concrete actions at the local level. Allan Sayers is the Chief Executive of Sayers Publishing Group, which publishes monthly magazine The Canmaker - most widely circulated and prestigious publication on metal packaging.
Born in the Indian Sub-continent, the movement enjoys tremendous international support. In addition to the International Packaging Association (IPA) - an association of 16 major and independent can makers, of which 7 is from Europe, 5 from The Americas and 4 from Asia and Australia, can makers from Korea and Brazil have also pledged their support to the Canvironment Week.
