Weston bets big on festival season to boost sales

Weston, the consumer electronics company is betting big on the ongoing festival season and expects to boost its sales between 50-60 per cent during the season as compared to the last year.

"This festive season, we are expecting a growth of about 50 per cent plus over the last year. Our colour television sales during the first six months of the current financial year 2010-11 have increased by 45% over the same period in the previous year. To further boost our colour television sales we are launching host of new products as well as consumer friendly schemes under including HAR TV PAR UPHAAR under which along with every WESTON CTV the customer gets a EVEREADY Torch Free of cost. The validity of the scheme is till 5th Nov 2010." Said Mr Sunil Sethi Chief Operating Officer, Marketing, Weston.

We have upgraded technology used in our CTVs by using a mosfet giving prospective buyers a CTV in which he can have un-interupted viewing even in low voltage.The warranty has been extended to two years reinforcing the point that WESTON is quality CTV.

The range has been increased by six new models Entice 802 and 803,Fireball 99,Zest 147 and 149 AND Zest 201 giving prospective buyers various options.Total CTV range has now 20 models.

The scheme will be supported by a two different campaigns running across the following channels Imagine TV,Sab TV,Aaj Tak,India TV,IBN 7,Sony Set Max,UTV movies,Zee Cinema and Filmy.Also the same will be supported by print,300 hoardings and a huge number of banners, posters, danglers etc.

The Weston Colour Televisions would be available throughout India at 5000 dealer points.
