AVTEST.ORG conducted tests on leading products available in the market, for a Japanese magazine, to determine their effectiveness in detecting malware and other online security threats internet users are exposed to. K7 TotalSecurity had scored 98.60% in these tests resulting in being ranked among the top.

In the beginning of 2008, K7 TotalSecurity had a modest score in a test conducted by AVTEST.ORG. From then on a team of highly seasoned professionals had started working on improving the product. Subsequently, in 2009 it scored 90% and now in 2010 it has reached 98.60%
